Ordering & Purchasing 

Can I pay in a different currency?

No, all prices are in Euros. Your bank will do the transfer and we will receive in euros.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through bank transfer, credit/debit card, mbway & paypal. At festivals & events we will be accepting currency, paypal (with a fee) and mbway.

Where can I purchase the Xiado products?

Besides purchasing online here on our website, we will do our best to be present at Forró festivals & events. If you live in Lisbon, you’re a lucky one! Xiado da Xinela will be present in a few regular events and delivering at Espaço Baião. Get to know where we will be selling our goodies on our Instagram & Facebook page or send us an email to info@xiadodaxinela.com.

Delivery

Do you ship worldwide? How much does it cost?

Yes! We think that everyone should be able to receive their items independently of where they live. The shipping fee will vary accordingly to where you want your goodies to be delivered to, how many you buy and their respective weight. This will be shown to you at checkout before you pay, just select your goodies and add your address.

What are my delivery options?

• Delivery with tracking code – We will send your products through Portugal CTT mail service. You’ll receive a tracking code so you know the status of your order. Shipping fees apply according to the country, weight and number of parcels. If there is an issue with this delivery we will support you in making sure you receive your products!
• Delivery without tracking code – We will send your products through Portugal CTT mail service. You will not receive a tracking code, if this shipment is lost we will not be responsible for the loss of the products.
• Pick up at Espaço Baião (Lisbon) – If you live in Lisbon, you can select the “pick up” option, this option will appear once you add a Lisbon address in check out. After paying for your order please email info@xiadodaxinela.com or message +351 91 258 88 48 to arrange a pick up time.

Returns & refunds 

How do I return an item?

Send us an email via info@xiadodaxinela.com asking for your refund, we will take it from there. We will issue a refund for products that are requested within 15 days of delivery, as long as it hasn’t been used and the brand tag hasn’t been ripped off. We can’t accept returns for accessories due to hygiene and quality reasons. We will issue your return as soon as we receive after you ship it back to us. We are a very small company, refunds and shipping costs are tough for us, so in this case you will have to send the products back to us yourself.

Can I return shoes if they don’t fit?

Yes, of course. If you are not sure about sizing you can write to us! We will help! To return the shoes they need to be clearly not worn and returned with the bag they are sent in. You will have to cover the shipping of sending the wrong size back to us and we will cover the shipping of sending the new pair to you. We are a small company and these extra shipping costs are very heavy on us.

How long does it take to get a refund after I return an item?

After we’ve received the item you returned, it can take up to a week to process the refund. We can only issue a refund to the original form of payment you used when you placed your order.

I bought a product right before it went on sale. Can I get a refund and repurchase it at the sale price? 

No.

I issued a refund order in less than 24h after my purchase. How long does it take to get my money back?

If we haven’t shipped the item to you yet and the refund request is approved, we will refund the amount you spent through the original payment method.

The Xiado team can always reject a refund if the product is damaged or clearly worn.

Products

Where are your products made? Who makes them? 

All ideas, designs, prints, shapes, fabrics etc are created by the Xiado team!

Our dresses, crop tops, skirts and trousers are handmade in Lisbon by our wonderful seamstresses who work closely with us on a day-to-day basis. We choose the materials and patterns ourselves to create the most comfortable clothes for you forrozeir@s. Read more here: https://xiadodaxinela.com/making-off/

Our t-shirts are made with suppliers based in Portugal and Spain. We create the prints ourselves and we would love if you could participate in that too! If you’ve got any idea of a different design that you’d like to see in Forró reach out to us!

Our sweaters are made in a company in England, and screen printed in Portugal.

Portugal is known for its quality shoes, so it was part of our dream to have them made in our country. Our shoes are handmade in the North of Portugal, vegan and eco-friendly and we are lucky enough to go there and choose the materials ourselves, as well as the shapes, soles and small details.
